Jesse Haag
Jesse Haag is the Director of Planning for Lincoln County, Montana, where he leads land-use planning efforts across a region in need of balance between rapid growth and rural realities. With a BSc in Geology and a knack for problem solving, he brings practical, community-focused solutions to subdivision review, floodplain management, and lakeshore protection. Dedicated to public service, Jesse is a member of the Troy City Council where he chairs its Housing Committee, and is the Board President for Community Action Partnership of Northwest Montana, striving to engage and educate the public every step of the way. As a board member of the Montana Association of Planners, he’s passionate about building networks for rural planners and advocating for peer collaboration across Montana. A devoted family man, Jesse coaches youth baseball, prospects in the backcountry, and plays music – staying grounded while helping to strengthen Montana’s future.
