Garrett is a Senior Planner for Gallatin County, responsible for identifying and managing long-range planning projects. His professional background includes non-profit bicycle advocacy, as well as work as a planner in three different states. His experience as a planner is wide ranging, from current planning and code enforcement in rural Oregon to countywide land use planning in South Florida. He holds an MS in Environmental Studies from the University of Montana, with a focus on environmental justice and public participation in planning. Originally from Tucson, Arizona, Garrett lives in Belgrade, Montana with his wife and son.
