The Missoula County Community and Economic Development is seeking a COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST to join their team. This position leads and oversees economic development initiatives and Tax Increment Financing (TIF) projects within Missoula County to promote sustainable growth, infrastructure investment, and community priorities. The position provides strategic leadership in implementing TIF policies, directing project performance and financial compliance, and fostering strong collaboration among stakeholders, including the Missoula Development Authority Board and the Board of County Commissioners. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required. Degrees best suited for this position include finance, business management, real estate development, public administration, and urban planning. Requires three years of progressively responsible, related project management experience. A master’s degree in a related field may be considered as equivalent to up to two years of relevant professional experience.
