Development Review Planner - Temporary Remote

This role manages complex planning and current development applications; reviews materials acceptability and adequacy; reviews development applications for compliance with the City of Bozeman’s adopted plans and development regulations; provides reports, findings, and recommendations. This role also prepares reports and makes presentations virtually for the Planning Board, Zoning Commission, Design Review Board, other advisory boards as needed, and including the City Commission. This is a temporary and remote opportunity lasting up to one full year! Benefits include vacation, holiday, and sick leave. As a City of Bozeman employee, you will be part of a team that is committed to impacting and serving the community. $61,838 - $72,750/year DOE Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s Degree in Planning, Urban Design/Planning, Architecture, Geography, or a closely related field; and • Extensive (at least 6 years) experience in planning or a related field; or • Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the work.
